Christine graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiological Science. During her four years at Maryland, she was an active member of the sports medicine program. She received her Physicians Assistant certification from Anne Arundel Community College and her Masters of Medical Science from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa.

Christine Brown joined Chesapeake Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in 2006 after working at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. While there, she focused primarily on Orthopaedic, Vascular, and General surgery.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Mrs. Brown works with Dr. Courtney focusing primarily on arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement of the hip and knee.
